Daniel E. Mowry

Daniel is a partner in the firm Nelson, McPherson, Summers & Santos, L.C. Daniel primarily focuses on criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, and local government law. He serves as counsel to Departments of Social Services and takes satisfaction in ensuring the protection of our most vulnerable. Daniel serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Liberty University School of Law teaching the next generation of lawyers. He also volunteers at local law schools judging mock trial and competitions.

Daniel Mowry was bom in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. From an early age, Daniel knew that he wanted to practice law to serve his community. Daniel attended James Madison University for his undergraduate degree in Business Management. After attending James Madison University, Daniel moved forward with his goal of becoming an attorney by attending Liberty University School of Law. Daniel Mowry represents clients in many areas of the law and zealously advocates for his clients.

Daniel knows what his clients have at risk, and works with dedication to reach favorable results for each client. Daniel has argued before the Virginia Supreme Court, Virginia Court of Appeals, and many lower courts throughout the Commonwealth.

Daniel and his wife, Sarah reside in Augusta County with his children. When Daniel is not in the
courtroom or classroom you may find him in the surrounding mountains enjoying God’s creation.
